About me
My career in marketing and communications began out of my deep love for writing. I have been fortunate enough to work in different industries across the country for the last 10+ years.
In my personal and professional life, I feel the most fulfilled when I’m telling stories.
After freelancing in Philadelphia, I moved to Los Angeles to work at an app startup. That led to working at an agency, where I gained invaluable experience. Since returning to Texas, I’ve led digital marketing strategy for nonprofits.
Charles Butt Foundation
The unlikely teacher who changed his life…
The latest installment of the Voices on Teaching series — a heartfelt interview with Eric Hale. In 2021 he received the distinguished honor of Texas Teacher of the Year. His teaching journey began with a teacher who saw and nurtured his potential.
Can returning teachers provide a solution to the Texas teacher shortage?
An easy-to-digest blog breaking down the foundation’s public opinion research on returning teachers’ motivations and challenges. It’s exciting when I’m able to collaborate with other teams on pieces like this that combine data and creative writing.
An early-career, bilingual teacher demonstrates the power of leading as your authentic self.
I’ve had a wonderful experience producing several stories spotlighting passionate educators. From planning and scriptwriting to lighting and filming, I continue to sharpen my skills and jump in wherever I’m needed.
My social media & content approach
Does it tell the brand’s story clearly?
What value does it offer audiences?
Did it create engagement and why?
What does the data tell us for next time?
I focus on creating genuine and hyper-specific content that interests audiences the most, and meets them on their preferred platform.
Digital Media Management Agency
WhoHaha at DMM
I thrived during my time at an agency that manages entertainment and consumer brands, movies, TV and streaming, podcasts, and high-profile individuals on all platforms.
I was part of a small team that built WhoHaha from the ground floor.
WhoHaha, co-founded by Elizabeth Banks, is a creative community and digital content studio that celebrates and elevates women and gender-expansive creators in the comedy space.
WhoHaha: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
In the video above, you can view parts of the campaign including memes, blogs, comedy shows and more. It was incredibly rewarding working on projects like this for a show I love.
I contributed to WhoHaha’s growth through developing a strong brand strategy, creating engaging original content, leading paid and organic social media marketing, and partnering with related brands and influencers.
In its first year, WhoHaha delivered quality sponsored content across all platforms and gained over 250,000 social media followers.
